Canopic Publishing is currently dedicated to publishing poetry collections. As a small, independent book publisher, we take pride in our editorial selection process. We are dedicated to publishing books that not only possess high literary merit but that also demonstrate the aesthetics and craftsmanship of traditional book production.

Our poetry books in print include Shadows (2019) and Recollections of My Father (2015) by Gene Kimmet, Letter to Country by Rethabile Masilo (winner of the prestigious 2016 Glenna Luschei Prize for African Poetry for his book Waslap) and Between the Bones (2003) by Mary Sue Koeppel (Winner of the Royal Palm Literary Award for published poetry).

We have three literary memoirs currently in print: The View from My Ridge by Charles E. Rice, Leatherneck Sea Stories: Recollections of Marines, Korea, and the Corps of the 1950s by Dave Easton, and Winter Sun: A Memoir of Love and Hospice by Phil Rice.

Our softcover and eBook editions are distributed internationally, which includes being available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and other online retail outlets. All of our titles are always available for purchase directly from the Canopic Bookstore.

If you have a manuscript or project that might be a good fit for Canopic Publishing, please send a query to Phil Rice at editor@canopicpublishing.com.
